It’s been a five year wait between albums two and three for The Jimmy Cake but the forthcoming Spectre & Crown is worth the downtime.

The band are streaming the second song on the new record on their MySpace right now. “Jetta’s Palace” is a majestic six and a half minutes of piano-led loveliness, with a driving rhythm leading to the unfolding of instrumental passages along the way.

You may also be admiring the artwork for the album which was designed by Dublin-based Japanese artist Atsushi Kaga.
