u:mack present a double bill featuring two Dublin acts now signed to the legendary Planet Mu label: Legion Of Two Sunken Foal.

Legion of Two is the new project from Alan O’Boyle of Decal, now joined by veteran Dublin drummer David Lacey. Where Alan’s work in Decal was notably eclectic, Legion of Two’s sound is far heavier, menacing loops ride huge waves of feedback, and huge bass sounds pulsate while Lacey’s pounding drumming locks into a room-shaking, Jesus Lizard style pounding groove.

As Ambulance (with Trevor O’Reilly) Duncan Murphy enjoyed releases on ultramack, FES and Planet Mu. His new project, Sunken Foal, has taken a different direction: exploring intensely evocative guitar-based electronics, accompanied by piano, strings and occasional vocals.
