This Thursday sees the launch of a new weekly hour long music magazine show on Dublin’s Phantom 105.2. Hosted by our own Phil Udell, State Of Play will take over from and expand the Friday album review slot on Frontrow. Joining Phil each week will be one of our esteemed correspondents and a name – well known or otherwise – from the music world to discuss three new releases plus whatever else takes their fancy. This Thursday will see John Joe Worrall and Power Of Dreams’s Craig Walker in the studio to discect new albums from Vampire Weekend, Tindersticks and These New Puritans, plus they’ll be looking at the bands due to reform in 2010 – Power Of Dreams included. Also, ever been in a rock star’s house?
