I Am The Cosmos aka Dublin-based Ross Turner and recent Faces of 2010 pick has gifted us this comforting mix of eclectic music for the weekend and beyond. Turner is best known for his drumming work with the likes of One Day International, Lisa Hannigan and Jape has been hard at work in his home studio cooking up some wistful electronic noise.

These tracks are an indication of the kind of music that inspires him from the intriguing (and well worth seeking out) odd French/Japanese collaboration Yamasuki Singers to the chillwave sounds of Washed Out to the legendary producer/composer Arthur Russell and the ’80s synth workout of Dr. Dunks. Awesome mix.
