The winners of 2009′s Irish Festival Awards were announced last night in Dublin’s Sugar Club. The award show was hosted by When Under Ether‘s Michelle Doherty which saw a live performance by Dark Room Notes; guest presenters included Jenny Huston and Alison Curtis.

Votes were counted from more than 15,000 festival goers over 20 different categories and the results are as follows.
