Pitchfork give Black Kids album 0.0 then backtrack to a 3.3

Pitchfork Media has taken the piss again. Yesterday the indier-than-thou music site posted a review of Black Kids Partie Traumatic with a 3.3 and a photo of two dogs with the caption “Sorry :-/”. No review. Just the lead summary to the album on the main page which reads “After a well-received EP, Jacksonville’s Black Kids release a Bernard Butler-produced debut that surprisingly hit the top 5 in the UK.” No explanation.
Earlier in the year, the site gave Black Kids http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/record_review/38853-shine-on">Wizard of Ahhhs EP a rating of 8.4 so the non-review seems a little crass. There’s more however. Initially, the review appeared with a 0.0 review though the explanation seems to be a genuine error. Editor Scott Plagenhoef explained here that that the first rating was “simply a regrettable computer error,” and that the review “was accidentally up when we woke and it was changed asap.”
