Let's French Festival Line-Up

Les PlasticinesThis year, the Let’s French Festival is offering Dublin crowds the opportunity to sample some of France’s most unique, musical talents with several shows taking place across the city between June 21st and July 1st.

Les Plastiscines play Andrews Lane Theatre on Friday, June 27th. This female quartet claim influence from such bands as Babyshambles and The Kooks, but with a cetain Parisian ‘je ne sais quoi…’ thrown in to boot.

On Saturday, June 28th, Birdy Nam Nam spin the decks in Andrews Lane Theatre. DJ Pone, DJ Need, Crazy B and Little Mike, cleverly mix musical styles from 90′s electro to 80′s hip hop.

Jeanne Cherhal will perform solo at the National Concert Hall on Tuesday, July 1st. Jeanne comes from a modern school of French singer-songwriter, who fuses witty poetry with gracious melodies to produce a charming sound.

Let’s French will kick off on Saturday, June 21st, with the opening night in The Village celebrating the French National Day for Music (Fête de la Musique).
