Cois Fharraige Festival Returns

SplashThe Cois Fharraige Festival will return to the west coast of Ireland this September. The 3 day event will run from September 5th to September 7th, and will once again take place in Kilkee, Co. Clare. The weekend will again see an exciting mix of live music and water sport activities.

The first of this year’s acts to be announced to date are Travis, Supergrass, The Zutons, The Futureheads, Seasick Steve, The Coronas, Cathy Davey and 28 Costumes with more to follow shortly.

Cois Fharraige was the winner of “Best New Festival 2007″ by the Irish Festival Awards, and has been critically acclaimed for its original festival concept and great line up. Let’s hope for more of the same for 2008.

Early Bird three day festival tickets inclusive of booking fee are €79.50 until 11 August and €89.50 after 11 August.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 13 June via Ticketmaster Online and 99 Ticketmaster Outlets Nationwide.

A huge improvement from last years dire lineup. I would pay 80 just to see Supergrass, Cathey Davey and the surfing element. Hopefully they don’t cancel the surfing thing this year..
