Powerscourt Open series starts tonight

Powerscourt Open is a series of live events which takes place in the Powerscourt Centre every Thursday from now until Christmas and the first one is tonight at 6.30pm. Every month will see a different theme and September’s theme is a series of special acoustic gigs.

Things begin tonight with Paul Hourican at 6.30pm. Joining him on the bill will be Emmet Scanlan with his band What the Good Thought following by a visual performance by spinning aerial rope act Corde De Lisse. Also launching at the same time is the Farmers Market on Coppinger Row which will continue throughout the year every Thursday from 11.30am to 7.30pm.

Sept 11th – 6.30pm – Orphan Code
Sept 18th – 6.30pm – The Hot Sprockets
Sept 25th – 6.30pm – Red Kid
