They’d want to be good with that background, right? The truth is a much simpler affair. Ignoring the rather non-descript moniker, Jubilee made up of Aaron North (Nine Inch Nails, The Icarus Line – vocals, guitar), Michael Shuman (Queens of the Stone Age, Wires On Fire – bass, vocals), Jeff Lynn (Wires On Fire – guitar, backing vocals), Troy Petrey (The Icarus Line, Willowbrook – drums) make a straightforward but heavy rocking racket.

State have 5 pairs of tickets to giveaway to their show in Whelans next Wednesday 1st October. All you have to do is send a mail to giveaway@state.ie telling us which of the aforementioned groups you like the most, along with your full name and number in case we need to contact you before the gig.

For those outside Dublin and there are many of you, the band are playing the following venues:

2 Oct Nerve Centre, Derry, Ireland

Fuck! Why didn’t I see this before now?!.. shit shit shit! I was at the gig anyway and it ROCKED!

I’ve LOVED the icarus line for a long time and especially adore the record “Penance Soiree” (a fucking masterpiece!) on which -I think- is when Troy teamed up with them on drumming duties.
