Randy Newman has cancelled his 18-date European tour including two dates in Vicar St on November 3rd and 4th.

A statement reads:

It is with great regret that Grammy and Academy Award-winner Randy Newman has had to postpone his forthcoming European tour including his Dublin dates in Vicar St. on doctor’s orders because of physical limitations and severe pain caused by stenosis in the lower back and neck.

Randy says:

“I deeply regret not being able to come. I like it so much in Europe and I’ve always been treated so well. I’ll get there as soon as I can.”

Ticket holders can get a refund from point of purchase. Details of rescheduled dates will be announced shortly.
