New shows on RTÉ 2XM

Having launched before Christmas, RTÉ’s alternative digital station 2XM has added two new shows to its schedule.

Making Waves will air every Monday at 7pm and will be repeated on Thursdays at 11am. Presented by Rory Dungan, Claire O Dowd and Richie Chakra, Making Waves has featured artist which include Maria Doyle Kennedy, Ash, Duke Special, Bronagh Gallagher and Kila. The show also prides itself on finding the best new talent in Ireland, and has featured the likes of Carly Sings, Leanne Harte, Director, The Flaws and The Gorgeous Colours over the past three years.

The BalconyTV Radio Hour, which broadcasts every Tuesday at 8pm, is presented by BalconyTV co-founders Stephen O’ Regan, Tom Millett and Pauline Freeman and features the best music from BalconyTV over the years.
