Gallows Play The Academy

Currently causing mayhem at SXSW, the Watford rockers Gallows have announced a headline show in The Academy on Tuesday 26 May. Tickets priced €16 incl. booking fee are on sale now at all usual outlets.

“Gallows played a typically raucous show tonight (March 18) at the South By Southwest festival, with frontman Frank Carter spending most of his band’s 8pm (CMT) set at Emo’s either in the crowd or goading them.

The singer, who repeatedly hit himself on the head with his microphone causing minor bleeding, spent the first part of the set in the midst of the audience, creating a circle space for himself by shoving punters to the side.

Later in the show he demanded that the audience form a circle pit, deriding their efforts as “pathetic” before joining in himself in an attempt to whip up some energy.”

Here’s the boys putting their energy into a pretty lame crowd.
