It’s home Karaoke, Freddie Mercury style, as you get to wrap your tonsils around some of the best-known and most loved rock songs ever composed. The chords are massive, the choruses even bigger and even the greatest of shower singers will struggle to hit the high notes like the late, great moustachioed master, but you’ll have great fun trying.
From ‘Bicycle Race’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ to ‘We Will Rock You’, all of Queen’s greatest hits are present and correct, with the PS3 version containing five extra tracks, including ‘Radio Gaga’ and ‘A Kind Of Magic’. As well as sorting the wheat from the chaff in terms of vocal prowess, Singstar Queen serves as a timely reminder of just how good Mercury & Co. were in their pomp. Great fun.
