New Online Radio Station for Unsigned Acts

Radio Ireland is a brand new online independent radio station which exclusively plays Irish unsigned acts.

“We arent interested in making money,” explains Radio Ireland’s Cris Rorschach. “We just want to support unsigned talent that does’nt get a chance in a very restricted and clicky irish music scene.”

According to Rorschach, Radio Ireland was launched and created to give exposure and radio airplay to new and unsigned Irish rock bands playing original music, “fresh from the streets and garages of Ireland”.

“We want to aid and nurture struggling musicians and songwriters to give them a platform, incentive and a reason to keep their bands/music alive and thriving,” notes their press release.

Promising unsigned acts prolonged exposure, the only stipulations they have are (a) sound quality and (b) that the act is unsigned. Any bands played by the staion who subsequently get signed to a record label, must inform Radio Ireland directly by email that the band or act is now no longer unsigned and have to be taken off their play-list for legal reasons.
