AC/DC – The Blizzards replace Thin Lizzy, extra tickets released

Due drummer Tommy Aldridge breaking his collarbone in a cycling accident, Thin Lizzy have had to pull of out of the AC/DC Punchestown gig this weekend, to be replaced by the Blizzards. On the same topic, a number of tickets have just been released for Sunday’s show, on sale now from Ticketmaster outlets and 24hr AC/DC hotlines ROI: 0818 719 300 & NI: 0870 243 4455.

The Blizzards can expect a frosty reception at Punchestown as far as I’m concerned – should stick on The Answer as primary support band. The only good having the Blizzards on the bill is a way of contrasting the brilliance of AC/DC & The Answer with the rubbish that usually comes out of Ireland’s retarded music scene.
