Oxegen IMRO new sounds stage announced
The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) and Oxegen have revealed their lineup for the New Sounds stage. There are some great acts including St. Vincent, David Kitt, Heathers, The Mighty Stef, Cashier no.9, And So I Watch You From Afar, Cap Pas Cap and Villagers lined up for the weekend.
Friday 10th July:
David Kitt, Heathers, The Joy Formidable, The Flaws, Yes Cadets, The Mighty Stef, Cashier No. 9, Ruth Anne Cunningham, The Brilliant Things, Home Star Runner, Stone Motion.
Saturday 11th July:
Director, General Fiasco, St Vincent, Codes, And So I Watch You From Afar, Cap Pas Cap, Joe Echo, Nightbox, Angel Pier, Carosel, Jenna Toro.
Sunday 12th July:
Villagers, Wintersleep, Broken Records, Concerto For Constantine, Dark Room Notes, Blood Or Whiskey, The Chakras, The Jades, Andrew Hozier Byrne, Bone.

Wow, aside from a few great Irish bands being added there, they’ve got some quality international acts playing this stage. Obviously, St. Vincent will be amazing, but then there’s The Joy Formidable, Wintersleep and Broken Records.
There is absolutely no way in any kind of physical reality I could get to see even half of the bands I’d like to see at Oxegen. It’s ridiculous. Even trying would be kind of sadomasochistic.
We’re sure excited!!
Shag it, was hoping EP would snap up St. Vincent.

we wish all bands the very best on this musical weekend.
