Ham Sandwich @ Sparks n’ Mind launch

Sparks n’ Mind is benefit compilation put together by the Sound Training Centre in Temple Bar in aid of Aware – the organistion that provides support and awareness programs for people suffering with depression. It was released last week and to mark the occasion Le Galaxie and Ham Sandwich popped along to Tower Records in Dublin to give their respective tracks an airing. With the album comprising contemporary Irish artists – including Lisa Hannigan, Bell X1 and Damien Dempsey – covering influential musicians and songwriters that gave them the initial spark to start a band there were bound to be some interesting choices, not least this one from the Sambos….
