Misfits tickets
US punk rock legends The Misfits are in Dublin town on Thursday for a show at the Academy and State has two pairs of tickets to pass on. Formed in New Jersey in 1977, the band has become one of the greatest American cult acts of the ensuing decades thanks to their ghoulishly theatrical stage show and extreme music and lyrics. Their promise for this gig is simple – to “block the sun and drag humanity by the throat into a world of darkness filled with ghouls, goblins and creatures of the nightâ€. Quite. With support from Blood Or Whiskey this looks like being a right roaring night and you can get your hands on a pair of tickets by emailing giveaway@state.ie by 2pm Thursday.
