Another weekend, another State Presents….gig at the Purty Loft in Dun Laoghaire. This Friday we’re joined by Talulah Does The Hula, the fab pop five that served time in the Chalets and Neosupervital before concocting their own brand of the tropics, pop music, harmonies, bouffants, sex, sunshine, outdoor drinking and Phil Spector. With debut single ‘Bad Boyfriend’ out this week it’s busy times so we’re delighted they could drop by our lovely seaside haunt. They’re joined on Friday night by Galway’s Disconnect 4, another band with a new record to tell you all about. It all kicks off at 9pm, with the State DJ team taking to the decks till late. As ever, we have five pairs of tickets to pass on, plus a copy of the single, so just email your name to giveaway@state.ie by 2pm on Friday and we’ll do the rest.
