Arctic Monkeys debuted a track from their upcoming album Humbug on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio One show today. It definitely has a spark of producer Josh Homme on it. The track is Crying Lightning’. The album is released on the 21st of August in Ireland. It cuts off a bit towards the end.

Maybe its a grower, but on first impression its nothing really special and no massive departure from the average stuff of the last album.

    Bit disappointed really.

The version of it they played at the big day out in Australia was a lot better than this vocally. Musically it’s a bit better with a stronger funkier bass, but meh, on the whole it’s bad.

They’ve been going down since after ‘whatever people say I am that’s what I’m not’
