Silver Lake, Los Angeles is home to folk-pop quintet Local Natives from where an excited buzz has been filtering over to our shores since the Californians stormed this years SXSW back in March. Now the band have announced a date at the Academy 2 on September 29th 2009. Tickets priced 13.50 euro including booking go on sale this Friday at 9.00 am.
Combining stunning harmonies with effortlessly good melodies, Local Natives look set to woo us further with the release of limited edition single ‘Sun Hands’. Supported with a handful of UK dates and an appearance at this year’s Latitude Festival, ‘Sun Hands’ will be available on vinyl and is backed with a live version of the song ‘Cards + Quarters’.
