Future Kings of Spain / The Kinetiks call it a day

A sad week for Irish music as two bands have announced they are no more, both via Myspace.
Future Kings of Spain left a short history of themselves in a blog entitled ‘Future Kings Of Spain 2000-2009′ saying that they disbanded in June.
Last week, Dublin band The Kinetiks also announced their demise via a Myspace blog with Gaz Harding writing “I understand that although this is massive news in my tiny world, it’s probably not in yours,” before going on to say “A new project has been discussed and has already begun.”
Best of luck to all the band members in their future endeavours.

I’m glad to see someone has mentioned the Kings breaking up. Awful shame for Irish music, those lads were top class. They dont call em kings for nothing
