Hard Working Class Heroes – On The Record night and Villagers headliner

With this year’s Hard Working Class Heroes fast approaching, more details are emerging. Jim Carroll’s On The Record blog will be hosting its own night at the Twisted Pepper (Middle Abbey Street) on Saturday October 17, featuring Valerie Francis, Hunter-Gatherer, The Spook Of The Thirteenth Lock, Cities, Kyon, Yes Cadets, The Dying Seconds and The Holy Roman Army. There will also be a discussion on new media with Una Mullally and our own Niall Byrne.

Villagers, meanwhile, play a headline show at Andrews Lane Theatre on Friday 16th. It comes ahead of their debut single ‘On A Sunlit Stage’ and the following October tour dates:

Sat 24: CORK – Half Moon Theatre
Sun 25: MULLINGAR – The Stables
