The MTV VMAs took place last night and will be shown in full on the channel at 9pm. We’ll be here tomorrow with our annual review of the madness but this just can’t wait. Is this the moment that Kanye West destroyed his own reputation and even his career? Check out Beyonce’s face for the definition of mortified embarrassment.

He’s already apologising – “I’m in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment, Beyonce’s video was the best of this decade… I’m sorry to my fans if I let you guys down… I’m sorry to my friends at MTV… I will apologize to Taylor.”

I thought he’d lost it long ago to be honest! Youtube his “George Bush hates black people” saga for example!

Oh, Kanye, you moron, but that is a classic!! Poor Taylor, if you think Beyonce looks embarrassed its nothing compared to that poor girl!

I think Taylor just looks so upset. It really was a mean spirited thing to do.

Apparently he was knocking back brews to beat the band though, but he’s plenty crazy sober as a judge!

    He’s just a cock.
Kanya, please go make a record… a good one this time.

Kanye West needs to be locked in a room somewhere and asked to contemplate the question ‘at what point did I disappear up my own ass, and what can I do to get out again?’ Preferably for several months. He’s so self important it’s unreal. We’re lucky he’s not in politics, as he’d be the next Hitler. Not that he’d ever get *cough* ‘elected’.

Surely to be mean-spirited he’d actually have to have some malicious intent? He genuinely believes that, by giving the award to Taylor and not Beyonce, that the balance of the world will forever be affected.

Which makes him dumb, unbalanced, and a bit of a twat, surely??

    Yeah, but we knew that.

Timing his “protest” to ruin Taylor Swift’s moment is mean spirited, no matter what way you look at it.
