Patrick Swayze RIP

Patrick Swayze has died at the age of 57 after a courageously fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Shooting to fame as every young girl’s holiday romance fantasy in Dirty Dancing, he more recently put in a brilliant turn as a troubled small-town celebrity in sleeper hit Donnie Darko and starred in US TV show The Beast. He was credited recently for his never-give-up attitude, saying in a TV interview, “Am I saying goodbye to people? No way”.
