Seems like a pointless exercise given that nobody in Ireland dedicates any air-time to Irish videos anymore. Which is a shame.

Is there such a dearth of decent live videos that they had to nominate the same artist twice in the one category?

Because its the first IMTV video awards they kept the time span vaguely loose, to give a nod to all great videos made by Irish acts in recent years. Floating is an awesome video. Next year if the awards go ahead again, Im sure it will be more strictly based on videos made only in the year since the last awards.

Isn’t a nomination for Floating a bit odd seeing as the video alone is at least 2 years old??
