Thanks a lot, yeah I agree, best Homme caper since songs for the deaf. Takes a few days to get into but it’s worth it, pure filth!

That’s a great review Conor.
This album is getting some stick at the moment because it’s not fashionable or compromising. I found it a case of the law of diminishing returns with the last two Queens’ records, but this is the best thing Homme (or Grohl for that matter) has done since Songs for the Deaf.
There’s a couple of iffy moments, but come on, it was never going to be ‘the one to rule them all’, and that’s probably what’s bothering people so much.

It’s a wonderful world we live in that such a team of musicians can get together and make a great rock record like this.
