Goodbye Elton, hello Rod

Having initially postponed his planned Dublin date due to ill health last month, Elton John has announced that the show has now been officially cancelled. Aiken Promotions have confirmed that refunds of the full face value of the ticket would commence this week.
On a brighter note, Elton’s pal Rod Stewart will play his first Irish indoor show for five years at Dublin’s O2 on 11th May 2010. Tickets go on sale next Thursday, priced €65.70, €81.25, €91.25.
