Dublin-based producer Prince Kong has wrapped up his debut album Proper Horror Show and it’s set for release on 9 November on 2 x 12″, the first on Ghetto Quietly (GHT001). Another slab of dancehall-peppered digital dub floor-fillers, Proper Horror Show features rousing vocals courtesy of Commandante Krakken, Lady Grew, Tommy Trouble (Jah Balance) & Eccleton Jarrett and MC Quilombola.

Kong is the special guest this Friday 6 November at the launch night of Ghetto Quietly – the new Dublin-based independent specialising in dub, grime, breaks, ragga and dubstep. Head to Melody Bar on Dublin’s Capel Street (Chinese restaurant by day, soundsystems by night) to see live sets from Kong feat. Lady Grew, MC Quilombola and Comandante Krakken, Forcefed (Bluefood vs A-Force), Eomac and Manus Goan. It’s only only a tenner at the door and you’ll get a free copy of Proper Horror Show if you’re on time. Doors are at 10.30pm so get there early.
