Lucien Revolucien, also known as Lucien M’B and Papalu, will be in Dublin this weekend to introduce the screening of Round Da Way/Les Lascars at the IFI, as part of their annual French film festival. Revolucien, who scored the movie, has been a hugely influential figure on the French hip-hop scene for many years, as well as working with the likes of Afrika Bambaataa and the Native Tongues Posse. He’ll be part of a Q&A seesion after Friday night’s 8.30pm screening, as well as attending the French hip-hop party later that evening. There is an additional screening of the film on Saturday at 9.45pm.
