david hasseloff welcomed as a "freedom fighting hero"- I don't know how had the "stunning" idea to invite him, it sure wasn't anyone German and it kinda goes on my nerves that a lot of people belive Germans were hugely into his music (or him?), because he is just laughed at like everywhere else.

And for the "who the fuck is Tokio Hotel?"--well I believe it is bad enough that the EUROPEAN Music Awards are hugely dominated by Americans (I mean whats the difference to the VMA`s then?), so even if you don't like their style or music, you could at least do proper journalism and acknowledge that they are a huge succes in Europe and the US.I do not know why they don't sell in Ireland, and it does not really matter either, everyone can have its own taste but please stay fair.

Have to say Tokio Hotel are the fastest selling German act of all time not only in Germany but in other parts of Europe, Asia and North America. Why they are not particularly famous in Ireland tho they have a strong fanbase in Ireland is due to British Music Industry having way too much influence on what Irish people listen to on radio, tv and music magazines.

Overall your review was excellent on the EMA's and thanks for highlighting that Ireland needs its own category something I strongly support.
