Faces of 2010 – Jogging

While Irish music has seen a good deal of subtlety, invention and multi-instrumentation, sometimes all you want is some very loud rock music. Say hello to Jogging, exactly the right band for such a moment. Formed after the demise of the Coldspoon Conspiracy, they quickly found a spiritual home alongside Bats and Adebisi Shank on the Richter Collective label, for whom they’ll release their debut album in the spring.

I was at that gig (above youtube video) in Academy 2 where they were supporting And So I Watch You From Afar. Thought they were decent. Will definitely check out the album when it’s released
