Glen Hansard for solo Haiti benefit gig at Whelan’s

The Frames and Swell Season frontman Glen Hansard is the latest artist to offer up his time to help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti that has claimed the lives of up to 200,000 people. Hansard will be headlining a special one-off fundraiser with a solo show in Whelan’s in Dublin this Sunday, January 24.

Tickets are €15 including booking fee and are available from Tickets.ie and the WaV Box Office (lo-call 1890 200 078), City Discs and Road Records. All proceeds will go to Concern’s Haiti Appeal. Donation buckets will be circulating on the night and all proceeds will go to Concern so dig deep and give what you can.

Also on the night, photographer Robert Dixon will be raffling off the below 60″ long framed piece for charity.
