Owen Pallett (Final Fantasy) for Whelan’s show

Expect some gratuitous violins this March when Owen Pallett (the artist formerly known as Final Fantasy) hits Dublin for a gig in Whelan’s. The Canadian composer, violinist and singer is playing the Camden Street venue on March 18, so it could be a nice cure for your post-Paddy’s Day hangover.

Tickets are €24 including booking fee, available from WAV [lo-call 1890 200 078], tickets.ie City Discs, Road Records and Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.

Pallett’s stunning new album Heartlands is out now on Domino.

He cites Whelan’s as his favourite venue in the Pitchfork’s Guest List. Just so you know like.
