Delorentos make a welcome return to the Academy, Dublin on Friday 26 March. Tickets are on sale this Thursday, 28 January priced €20 incl. booking fee.
Delorentos released their stunning second album You Can Make Sound last October and saw it go straight into the Irish charts at number 2. The record was released on their own Delorecords label. The albums lead single Secret reminding fans of why the Irish four piece are so popular. The follow up to their 2007 Top 10 debut In Love With Detail shows a maturity of the band’s songwriting while retaining the power and accessibility of their pin-point melodies.
It seals the band’s commitment to continue with music after a two year period of trials, tribulations and uncertainty caused them to announce (and, subsequently, rescind) earlier in the year that the band would be breaking up. Suffice it to say that fans are all the richer for the band’s recommitment to the cause!
