Broken Social Scene – New Album Details
Canadian collective Broken Social Scene return with a full-on proper studio album this May. The ever changing line-up is led by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning; the pair have since put out solo albums under the Broken Social Scene Presents… series.
Instead of waning this musical consortium are expanding, returning with the likes of Feist, Emily Haines and members of Stars to name only a few as well as recruiting members of Tortoise, Sea & Cake and Spiral Stairs.
The album remains untitled but we do know it will be released May 4th on the Art & Crafts label. The band are also playing some dates around Europe in May so we reckon they’ll popping over to our shores sometime soon, especially when we look back at this reaction from their last trip to Vicar Street.
