The New Breed - an Irish music compilation out this Friday

Update: After a postponement, the compilation will now be released this Friday. To celebrate, there will be a launch in Tower on Friday with Ham Sandwich, The Minutes, The Ambience Affair and Dark Room Notes playing short 20 minute sets from 5pm.

The New Breed is a new 40 track compilation of contemporary Irish music on 2 CDs releaed on EMI which showcases the sound of Ireland today. The compilation features the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, The Minutes, Adebisi Shank, Mick Flannery, Lisa Hannigan, ASIWYFA, MJEX and The Blizzards.

The album will be released the day before Independent Record Store Day on Friday April 16th .
