• Black Rebel Motorcycle Club play The Academy on December 13th. Tickets €25 on sale this Friday.
• Castlepalooza have added Norman Jay, First Aid Kit, Noelle Scaggs with DJ Scope, Le Galaxie and The Candidates to their bill on 31st July/1st of August.
• Dubstep godfather and Hyperdub label owner KODE9 plays The Pavilion in Cork on Thursday June 24th from 11pm. €12.
• Local Natives, Plan B and Biffy Clyro have been added to Oxegen.
• A tribute to The Fall night – Rebellious Jukebox YEAH! No. 2 – is taking place on 3rd June in Twisted Pepper with bands: Burr Oak, Dubstruck, Gavin Duffy (Thread Pulls), Gluefoot, Logikparty, Perfect Prescription and Richer Than Astronauts. €5 in.
• Phantom’s First Friday for June will feature The Minutes, The Dirty 9s, Stand and Pilotlight. It akes place at The Academy on June 4th. Doors open at 8pm and admission is free before 10:00pm (admission after 10:00pm is €5).
