The weather was so nice for the last State Intervention that we decided to take it outdoors. Our guests were Turin Brakes, in town to promote new album Outbursts with a gig at Whelan’s, so we took the short stroll to St Kevin’s Park. Despite the attention of the local park wardens (who make a brief cameo at the end) it all went marvellously, with the band playing two new tunes alongside two old favourites. Keep an eye on our Twitter feed for news of one, two or even three more Interventions over the coming days…
