Mega gig roundup: Ellie Goulding, Of Montreal, Yeasayer, Republic of Loose, Donovan, PVT & loads more

Lots of new gigs announced today (and a few from last week):
- Xavier Rudd @ The Academy, Dublin – December 2nd (€30)
- PVT (formerly Pivot) play The Workman’s Club on September 8 as part of an On the Record Presents night. Tickets are €13.50 from Ticketmaster.
- Yeasayer @ Olympia Theatre, Dublin – Monday 18th October (€23 Ground Floor Standing/Circle Seating and €20 – Upper Circle Seating – tickets on sale next Tuesday)
- Paolo Nutini plays two Irish dates in September. Monday 20th @ TF Royal Castlebar & Tuesday 21st @ INEC Kilarney. Tickets €34 on sale now.
- Ellie Goulding plays Tripod on Tuesday 30th November. Tickets are €24.50 on sale this Friday.
- Of Montreal play Tripod on Sunday 3rd of October. Tickets €19.50 on sale this Thursday.
- The Guillemots’ Fyfe Dangerfield plays live at The Academy on the same night (3rd October) Tickets are €20 on sale now.
- Alabama 3 play unplugged in Crawdaddy on Wednesday August 4th. Tickets €22.50 available from Ticketmaster, City Discs, and usual outlets. www.ticketmaster.ie
- General Fiasco play an over 14s show in The Academy 2 on Tickets are €13.50 and the show is over 14s starting at 6pm. No alcohol will be served.
- One Night Only play The Academy 2 on Wednesday 20th October. Tickets are €13.50 and the show is over 14s starting at 6pm. No alcohol will be served.
- Sarah Blasko plays The Academy 2 on Saturday 11 December. Tickets are €12.50.
- Folk-rock pop troubadour Donovan has announced a Dublin date at The Olympia on 4th October. Tickets priced from €29 including booking fee go on sale this Friday 30th July at 9am.
- Republic of Loose will play a four month live residency at The Academy – one Friday each month from September through to December. Tickets priced €22.50 including booking fee go on Tuesday 20th July at 9am. The dates are Friday 10th September, Friday 15th October, Friday 19th November and Friday 17th December.
- The Divine Comedy or An Evening with Neil Hannon takes place across Ireland in September in the following venues:
- Saturday 2nd: Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda
- Wednesday 6th: Garter Lane Arts Centre, Waterford
- Thursday 7th: SET Theatre, Kilkenny
- Friday 8th: Birr Theatre, Birr
- Saturday 9th: Acoustic Room, INEC Theatre
- Sunday 10th: Everyman Theatre, Cork
- Thursday 30th: Olympia Theatre, (€25)
