I think fans should boycott these gigs.
45 euro for an (admittedly great) artist who just a few months ago played crawdaddy for less than half the price!

To put it into perspective: He’s playing the Royal Albert Hall in London this winter too, and tickets for that are between €20-31.

I know where i’d rather see him, and it’s not in a tent in the middle of winter..

I think Pod Concerts have overstretched themselves with this one. It seems absurdly optimistic that they will sell out a tent at the end of October for what can only be described as a cult artist with limited appeal. It would make more sense with MMJ headlining and Seasick Steve supporting, but even then a 45 euro ticket price is too much. Follwing the cancellation of quite a few festivals this summer I’d say we’ll see a reduction in the amount of these ‘event’ type gigs in the coming year. I don’t think many will miss them – the best place to hear live music is with a solid roof over your head and a bar near-at-hand IMO!
