More gig news: The National, Foals, Shane McGowan, Deer Tick & more

Another bout of post-Picnic gig announcements:
- The National will play Olympia Theatre on the 2nd of December. Tickets are on sale this Friday but there is a strong rumour that there will be two further dates added afterwards. Tickets are €28.50 (Standing & Upper Circle) / €31.50 (Circle) plus fees.
- As announced via the radio stations at EP, Foals are also playing Olympia Theatre on Monday November 15th. Tickets are priced at €23.50 plus fees and are on sale this Thursday at 9am.
- Deer Tick will play Whelan’s on Sunday October 3rd with support from Caitlin Rose and Squarehead. Tickets are €16.50.
- Tubelord have announced a full Irish tour. Here’s how their last gig went down on these shores.
14th September: Baker Place Limerick (pre-sale tickets €5 €7 on the door) 9PM
15th September: Crane Lane Cork W/ KVX (Late gig: 12-2)(free)
16th September: Twisted Pepper W/Realistic Train & Overheard The Albatross (€10)
17th September: Richardsons Galway (€6)
18th September: Pine Lodge Cork (Acoustic) (free)
19th September: Auntie Annies Belfast (£5) (9PM) - Shane MacGowan plays his first gig with his new band in The Summit Inn in Howth on Friday September 17th. Tickets are €25 available from the venue (01 8324615) and support comes from Von Shakes. The new band includes ex In Tua Nua /Rocky de Valera rhythm section Jack Dublin on Bass and Paul Byrne on drums.
