Commissioned by Dr. Martin (as in Doc boots) as part of their 50 year anniversary celebrations Danish fuzz-pop duo The Raveonettes have covered The Stone Roses most iconic song ‘I Wanna Be Adored’. It’s almost an exact replica of the original, the only real difference is a breathier vocal from Sharon Foo and even that is pretty close to Ian Brown’s.
The video was co-directed by photographers Cass Bird and Molly Schiot and is their modern interpretation of the 1971 cult classic Harold and Maude.
