Kaiser Chiefs have announced a live date at the Olympia Theatre on Tuesday 23rd August as part of their forthcoming European tour. Tickets priced from €30 inclusive of booking fee are on sale from this Friday, May 27th at 9am. The band release their fourth album later in the year.

Not such good news for Peter Doherty fans, however, as the fact that he will be unavoidably detained at Her Majesty’s pleasure for the next six months means that his shows in Dublin, Derry and Belfast this weekend will have to be rescheduled as will, we assume, his Oxegen slot.
