Rumours abound that Santogold may be forced to change her stage name from Santogold to Santi. It follows a litigation act filed by Santo Rigatuso who Stereogum describes as a “jack-of-all-trades actor/infomercial guy (selling gold chains) who’s been out there under the name Santo Gold since ’83″.

Rigatuso also owns santogold.com. While the name change hasn’t been confirmed just yet, it looks inevitable.
