No Music Day November 21st

This Friday be prepared to switch off your radios, put away those i-Pods and put down the guitars as it marks the fourth annual No Music Day. Dreamt up by ex-KLF honcho Bill Drummond (let’s face it, who else?), NMD encourages us to avoid all forms of music for twenty four hours in order to consider the quality of music around them, reconnect with the music they love and maybe create something new. This year Brazil will be the focus and Ireland will be taking part for the first time. It sounds like a tall order to us, especially since the Jimmy Cake are playing, but we admire the concept.
