EXPLORATIONS, the 5th DCFE album project to date, has a wide, diverse range of genres – from trad to electronica, acoustic and pop. The bands who have taken part (all were recorded here at DCFE) vary from acts with a high profile and following already (The Juice, The Fundamentals, The Rye) to those who are starting out and already building a strong steady fanbase online (Clara Byrne, Pamela and the Trouble is, Jennifer Evans and the Ripe Intent). The acts are from all over Ireland and also represent every part of the Dublin area.
