After 2006′s excellent Body Riddle, Chris Clark turns his attention to more dancefloor orientated stylings for Turning Dragon.

Released this week on Warp Records, this album sampler seems to deliver what recent EP Throttle Promoter hinted.

Sounds like Turning Dragon is an album filled with fast-paced, rave-inspired techno glitches. What we’ve heard so far is full of kinetic energy with an old-school approach. One song sounds like Yo Majesty wrestling with a drum machine under a layer of distortion.

The trademark synth melodies are still in effect but this sounds like yet another sound to add to Clark’s multifaceted discography.
