Magnificent, the second single from U2′s #1 album No Line On The Horizon, will be released as a digital download and on physical format of 7′ and CD on May 1st 2009.

The single will be available for 99c as a digitial download, despite the recent increase in pricing announced by iTunes earlier this month. The band also released tickets for €33.90 as part of their forthcoming 360° degree tour.

Produced by Brian Eno, Danny Lanois and Steve Lillywhite, sessions for No Line On The Horizon began in Fez , Morocco , and continued at the band’s Dublin studio, New York ‘s Platinum Sound Recording Studios, and Olympic Studios in London.
